Core Curriculum

To gain admission to law school under our "Fast Track to Law School" the student must complete a total of 60 units as follows:

A. Complete the 12 law classes ( 36 units ) of the Paralegal Studies Program at Mission College AND

B. Complete 24 units of General Education,  OR    PLAN B of the AA Degree in Legal Studies/Paralegal (Graduation Requirements "Plan B")

The following 6 of the above 24 General Education units are highly recommended because Law School requires excellent writing and critical analysis skills

1. English 101 - College Reading and Composition I (prerequisite English 28 - Internediate Reading and Composition)
2. A. English 102 - College Reading and Composition II (prerequisite English 101) or
    B. Philosophy 5 - Critical Thinking and Composition (prerequisite English 101)
